UyenMy Nguyen (PGP: they/them, she/her) is a proud queer, Vietnamese-American, womxn of color who is passionate about advancing social justice through the lens of art, therapy, and working in community. For the past 6-7 years, UyenMy has provided counseling and case management to immigrant and second generation youth and young adults at various Bay Area non-profit organizations. UyenMy recently achieved a Master’s in Expressive Arts Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies and will be moving to Stockton, CA with hopes to continue working with the Southeast Asian community.
