SEARAC’s commitment to building the power of Southeast Asian American communities grounds our Leadership and Advocacy Training program. Over the years, LAT has built advocates to uplift their communities’ stories and fight for their own self-determination and well-being.

2019 marks the 20th anniversary of this flagship program as well as SEARAC’s 40th anniversary as an organization. This year’s equity summit, Moving Mountains, will include an anniversary gala celebrating these two milestones.
We strive to ensure diverse geographic representation with each cohort. Over the years, we have hosted community members from 40 states.
Since 1999, more than 1,000 community members have passed through SEARAC’s leadership pipeline.
