Samantha Hing

Samantha Hing (prefers Sam) was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. She majored in Statistics while at Columbia and worked a few years in consulting before doing an Education Pioneers Impact Fellowship where she worked for a charter school in South Bronx for about two years. She is currently a rising 2L at Rutgers Law School-Newark and will be the co-President for both the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and the Immigrant Rights Collective. She considers people who recognize our capitalist imperialist system as her family/community. She is excited to join DAT because she has wanted to get involved with SEARAC for the longest time and thought this would be a great opportunity to be involved in one of the organization's programs.
