I am a 1.5 generation Cambodian American who had experienced the jail, to prison, and detention pipeline. My past, my story, is so common to stories of other Southeast Asians who made choice(s) that led to jail and prisons. Some get deported and some get second chances to remain in the U.S. With my second chance, I am determine to help advocate and win freedom for those who are still in prisons and ICE detention.
