California Policy advocate, SEARAC
As a child, I grew up angry, frustrated, and confused, trying to make sense of the normalized discrimination and poverty. In learning the names of my perpetrators: racism, patriarchy, sexism, classism, capitalism, and etc., I armed myself with community, vision, and social justice warriors in pursuit of liberation. My fierce spirit is cultivated through my deep soft love for my community.
