I'm a queer Lao and Vietnamese community organizer who was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, NY by a family of refugees. I continue to organize, because of the love I have for my community, and because of the ways that organizing has created space for me to heal and transform. It took me 21 years to find community, so I organize, because I don't want anyone else to have to wait 21 years before they are able to find and build community.
