Katrya Ly

Katrya Ly is a Hmong American woman who is interested in education equity and access. She is a first-generation college graduate with a B.A. in Social Policy and Public Service from the University of California, Irvine. She is currently an Education Specialist with Orange County United Way and she is passionate about working with students from underserved communities. That being said, she considers those from underserved and underrepresented communities as her own community and family. Being Hmong American, she can understand the struggles and perseverance of those who come from immigrant and refugee backgrounds. This summer she is excited to join a vibrant community of changemakers. she hopes to learn more about education policy and connect with new folx!
