H'Thu (huh-two) Nie is an an indigenous from Central Highlands of Vietnam. Ethnicity wise, she identifies as Montagnard- Rhade/ Ede. She likes to jog/run, watch animes, and read. She considers people such as close friends and relatives as family. Additionally, she thinks Greensboro overall is her community. Since she works for nonprofits, she considers the city as a community, because they serve everyone. She is excited to join DAT 2021 because she loves new experiences, and because she is interested in learning more about advocacy work. She wants to better serve her community, so in order to do that, she needs to understand federal policies.
