I am an American born son to Chinese/Vietnamese immigrants. Growing up in lower income refugee neighborhoods, I succumbed to the socio-economic indicators that lead to the school to prison pipeline. After spending nearly two decades in prison, I changed my life and dedicated myself to serving my community.
