Celia Lê

Celia is a fourth-year at Columbia University studying East Asian Studies and Linguistics. Currently, she is the Vietnamese translator for SEAD, a research assistant for the Weatherhead East Asian Institute, and a research intern at the Woodman Family Foundation. As an artist hailing from Saigon, Vietnam, she considers her homeland and her community of marginalized/displaced people in New York City, where she is currently based, her family. In her free time, she likes to cook, paint, read, and play Animal Crossing. She is excited to join SEARAC for DAT 2021 and to be able to learn in a cohort to advocate for her people and community.
