Angelica is a first-generation Hmong-American from Elk Grove, CA. She enjoys making and drinking coffee, knitting/crocheting, listening to BTS ~, and dancing like no one’s watching. She has spent most of her life searching for her community and figuring out where she belongs, but she has realized that her community consists of those who are around her. As a part-time barista, her customers and co-workers become her community. As a volunteer, those who she serves and who she serves with become her community. Although she has little knowledge in ethnic education policy, she is excited to learn and experience so many great things in DAT!
